Week 6 — My Community

This week children discover that they are part of a larger community.

Communities are made up of people who live, learn, work, help, and care for one another.

Every community is unique.

Some are large cities.

Some are small towns.

Some are villages.

Some are farming communities.

Although communities are different around the world, people everywhere work together to build safe, healthy, and welcoming places to live.

Remember:

A community becomes stronger when people help one another.
